We picked out what we thought were the best reducers on the market and formulated ours after theirs. In order to make it easy to pick out the proper dry times we followed their number system.
These reducers are top of the line and have no moisture content, so they can be used in any paint system that calls for a polyurethane or acrylic urethane reducer. The very slow reducer #895-1 will dramatically help in the 95°+ weather for many clears.
#710-1 and #710-5
710 is a solvent-based wax and grease remover available in gallons and 5-gallon pails.
This is a very high-quality product with only the best solvent used. 710 was not made to replace the cheap cleaners out there but to do the job a quality shop needs.
710 is a medium-dry wax and grease remover designed to give the painter time to clean the panel without fear of the product drying to fast before it does it job.
#900-4
SPI’S polar accelerator can be used in any urethane or polyurethane clear to speed up the dry time. Used at the rate of 2-4oz per mixed quart of clear this accelerator will not cause dieback or cause the clear to buff hard. SPI’S 900-4 can also be used in any 2K type urethane primer at the same rate. Keep in mind that accelerator will decrease pot life in any product. Primer pot life should be watched closely.
