2K Sealer – Tintable

Part Numbers:

#6400-1    ¾ gallon sealer

Mix:

4:1

Sealer gallon is ¾ full, add 25% color to gallon to make your own color.  Use only high-grade tint colors from a mixing system.  DO NOT use single stage mixed color or mixed basecoat colors to tint this sealer.  Use only raw tints with no blenders or metallic.

Once the color is mixed you will have a full quart or gallon.  Activate this product with 4 parts sealer to 1 part 2K primer activator #6501-4 or 6501-6.

Do not reduce this product any further!

Spraying:

Spray one wet coat of sealer over the properly prepped area and let set for 5 minutes before applying color.  Color should be applied to sealer within 48 hours after spraying.

Precautions:

·        This sealer is not a building primer and only one coat should be sprayed over the area to be painted.  If a second coat of this sealer is used, we recommend you let the car set for 60 minutes before spraying paint over the sealer.

·        Mix the exact amount of activator to equal 4:1 mix and stir in the activator very well to ensure uniform drying.
